Dame Suzi Leather is re-appointed as Chair of the Charity Commission, the independent regulator for charities in England and Wales, Angela Smith Minister for the Third Sector announced today.
The appointment will ensure stability for the Commission as it continues to implement extensive modernisation of the legal framework for charities introduced in the Charities Act 2006.
