British American Tobacco plants in Russia see earnings fall almost 50% in 2008
MOSCOW. July 20 (Interfax) - Total net profit at British American Tobacco's three plants in Russia - BAT-Yava, BAT-SPB and BAT-STF - declined almost 50% to 1.9 billion rubles in 2008 from 3.6 billion rubles in 2007, according to the SPARK database.
BAT plants boosted sales revenue to 23.9 billion rubles last year from 23.4 billion rubles in 2007.
