The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, has announced plans to invest up to $24 million in ASEC Algeria, a portfolio company of ASEC Cement, for the construction of a new cement plant in the North African country.
ASEC Cement is a regional cement platform created by leading Middle East and North Africa private equity firm Citadel Capital and a group of regional co-investors.
