MONTREAL, QUEBEC, Jul 22, 2009 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Advantech Advanced Microwave Technologies Inc. ("Advantech Wireless Broadband"), a Quebec based corporation announced today that it was awarded a multi million dollar contract to provide a new VSAT satellite communications network to a leading Latin American telecommunications service provider. For the initial phase of the program the value of the contract is in excess of US $14M; with a potential additional deliverables of over US$23M. This will bring the total amount of the contract value to more than US$37M.
