Winds of change are abroad in Oman. A new spirit of business optimism is apparent in the country once famed for its conservative policies of "good housekeeping" and, it seems, now everybody wants to get on the bandwagon, writes Pat Lancaster.
It is not an international investor stampede; indeed, nobody could be accused of unseemly haste. It is more in the nature of a long period of research and meticulous planning coming to inevitable fruition.
