Latvian pharmaceutical company JSC Olainfarm (NASDAQ OMX Riga:OLF1R) declared on Wednesday that its sales increased by 6% during the first half of 2009 when compared to the first half of 2008.

The company said that sales in Azerbaijan have grown at the fastest rate, achieving a 147% year-on-year increase, followed by Moldova with a 76% rise in sales.
