Anger at lawyer's tribunal 'attack' on colleague
Claim that evidence was not credible
THE Moriarty Tribunal has been accused of mounting a "shameful attack" on one of the country's "most eminent" lawyers.
Yesterday tribunal lawyer John Coughlan suggested to Richard Nesbitt, a law library colleague who is also the chairman of Arnotts, that evidence he [Nesbitt] gave to the inquiry was "not credible". This prompted an angry rebuke from a lawyer acting for former Fine Gael minister Michael Lowry.
