Dubai: Non-emergency enquiries to the Dubai Police operations room fell by more than 35 per cent in the first six months of this year.
While ordinary enquiries made up more than 52 per cent of the calls received by the operations room last year, the number declined to 15 per cent in the first six months of this year, according to Dubai Police statistics.
Of the more than 1,174,569 calls that the operations room responded to in the first six months, 182,000 were ordinary enquiries rather than emergency calls, according to the statistics.
