The Village of Mount Prospect and the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the 10th annual Midsummer Downtown Block Party from 4-10:30 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at Emerson Street and Busse Avenue. Admission is free.

Scheduled entertainment includes Rolling Thunder (winner of the Mount Prospect Public LibraryAEs 2009 Battle of the Bands), 3-Car Garage Band and headliner Instant Karma, a John Lennon tribute band.

Free kids activities from 4-9 p.m. will include a moonwalk, climbing wall, pony rides, a mini Ferris wheel, face painting and more.
