Pure Mendocino, a weekend celebration benefiting the Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County, will celebrate its 5th anniversary this year with a new 2-day schedule. On Saturday, August 29th, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Paul Dolan will host an alfresco wine dinner at his Biodynamic Dark Horse Vineyard above the Talmage Bench. Prepared by Chef Craig Strattman of Ukiah's Patrona Bistro & Wine Bar, the $135 per person five-course dinner will be paired with a diverse range of Mendocino County wines. On Sunday, August 30th, The Apple Farm will be showcased at an afternoon of food and wine tasting that includes a silent auction and a farm tour led by hosts Tim and Karen Bates. ...
