Dubai: Parallel imports are a continuing concern for companies in Dubai as these illegal goods have an impact on business.
A parallel import is a non-counterfeit product imported to a country without permission from the intellectual property owner.
Stores in Dubai are concerned that illegal imports of certain goods are ongoing. Probir Mukherjee, managing director of electronics at Al Futtaim Panatech, understands better than most the impact of illegally imported goods.
