JAKARTA, July 24 Asia Pulse - Indonesia, the world's largest palm oil producer, plans to expand its oil palm plantations by 400,000 hectares this year from 7.1 million hectares it has now.
The expansion, twice as large as earlier projected by the association of palm oil companies (Gapki), will be made in Sumatra and Sulawesi, Plantation Director General Achmad Mangga Barani said.
