Chattanooga, Tennessee -- Pathway Polymers Inc. has sold its Puma Polymers division to two of fits executives, a move which will allow Pathway to focus on its core tyre flatproofing segment and give Puma the opportunity to expand.
James Sowersby, who had been chief strategy officer of Pathway, and Gerrett Peters, formerly president, bought the specialised urethane products operation for an undisclosed amount. Peters will serve as president while Sowersby will be the ceo.
The business will be named Puma Polymers llc and remain in Chattanooga, at one of two facilities on Pathway's site. Pathway will continue in the other building.
