New Divisions Will Focus on Mass Markets, Specialty Markets and International
SALT LAKE CITY, March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Weider Nutrition International, Inc. (NYSE: WNI) today announced it has realigned its business structure to reflect a vertical marketing strategy targeting three market segments. The new divisions are:
* Mass market: Including mass volume retailers, chain drug stores, convenience stores, and supermarkets. Current Weider customers in this division include Wal-Mart, Kmart, Target, Walgreens, Costco and Thrifty/Payless.
