COLLEGEVILLE, Pa., March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, a global pharmaceutical subsidiary of Rhone-Poulenc S.A. (NYSE: RP), today announced that it has received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to market the tablet formulation of DDAVP (desmopressin acetate) for the management of primary nocturnal enuresis (PNE), commonly known as bed-wetting, in patients aged 6 and over.

DDAVP has been available in a nasal spray form for bed-wetting since its introduction in 1989.
