Hungary-based international real estate developer TriGranit has signed an EUR 150 million loan agreement for the construction of Arena Centar shopping and entertainment centre in Zagreb, Croatia.
This is the largest foreign direct investment in Central and Eastern Europe since the onset of the global economic and financial crisis.
The total investment cost of Arena Centar, to be opened in November 2010, is EUR 244 million, with further EUR 100 m development possibly coming from the tenants.
