Anglo Platinum (Angloplat) and Anglo Coal were piloting a stationary fuel cell on the latter's exploration plant in Limpopo, Sandy Wood, the executive head of commercial development, said yesterday. This project, estimated at R10 million, would be connected to the national grid and generate 200 kilowatts of energy when operational.
Proceeds will be used to further the activities in beneficiation," he said. Wood said the company was teaming up with government departments, local research institutions and international fabricators to stimulate technology and innovation in the group.
