THE fabulous surface at Waterford Farm rode superbly for the junior competitors at the Durham Area show. There were 12 entries in the 80cm Starter Stakes class which was won by Fay Currie and her Irish Sports pony, Mr Magna. Faye, from Winlaton Mill, has owned Magna for three years and combines his showjumping with a successful eventing career. Second place went to Alex McCatty and Black & White Lightening with Charlotte Tomlinson and Connie's Bobbie in third spot.
