When Duncan Carroll graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in history, he decided to make a little history of his own. Teaming up with two of his college swim-mates, Carroll created bpong.com, which then evolved into the World Series of Beer Pong (WSOBP) and has grown to include more than 400 teams and a cash prize of $50,000.
The WSOBP's next stop -- Kent.
"I noticed after a few years in college that it was a nationwide underground phenomenon," Carroll, 28, said. "Literally all my friends at other schools were also playing."
