Rep. Brett Guthrie (R-Ky.) speaks with a drawl that is undeniably Kentuckian and a straightforward, matter-of-fact manner that is unmistakably metalcaster.
Elected to his first term in Congress last November, Guthrie moved to the nation's capital from his seat in the Kentucky state legislature, where he served while concurrently working for Trace Die Cast Inc., Bowling Green, Ky., a diecasting company his father has owned for 20 years.
