Like almost anyone who signs up for Twitter, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Chief Operating Officer China Miner Gorman says she was puzzled by the social networking site.
Her initial experience was typical.
"Sometimes it's challenging and it takes time to really understand the whole Twitter thing--it's just so different," said SHRM member Beth Carvin, president and chief executive officer of the Honolulu-based Nobscot Corp., which specializes in retention management and HR metrics.
