The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) has granted Benin CFAF 8 billion to help the country implement its Programme of Support to Rural Economic Growth (PACER), sources close to the Ministry of Agriculture, Farming and Fishing told PANA here Thursday.
The grant, the agreement of which was signed on Tuesday in Italy, represents IFAD's contribution to the programme aimed at creating the necessary conditions for a sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction in rural areas in Benin.
