German rail and logistics organisation Deutsche Bahn (DB) reported this week that it had now finalised the acquisition of PCC Logistics Group in Poland, effective July 21.
DB pointed out that the agreement defining purchase terms for "the largest privately-owned freight railroad in Poland" had been signed in Warsaw at the end of January. The EC (European Commission) had approved the takeover on June 12.
