AREVA and its U.S. consortium partner Bechtel Power Corporation today announced they have signed a term sheet with Baltimore-based UniStar Nuclear Energy outlining the terms and conditions for an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for UniStar's proposed Calvert Cliffs 3 nuclear energy facility project in Maryland. The EPC term sheet agreement is a critical step in negotiating an overall EPC contract.
