Apr. 1--Fifteen Center City hotels and the Airport Marriott will help to host the NBA All-Stars and the visitors the game will draw.
NBA hotshots were in town earlier this week to check out the 16 hotel sites, chow down at the Four Seasons, Nicholas Nickolas and Striped Bass, and get their pound of flesh in room-rate discounts from the hotels.
It shouldn't be a problem for the hotels to cooperate since February is hardly the height of the tourist season in Philly. And the economic impact on the city is expected to hit $25 to $30 million, says Mike Gamble of ...
