SAN JOSE, Calif., March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE) today reported financial results for its first quarter of fiscal 1998 ended February 27, 1998. For the first quarter, Adobe achieved $197.8 million in total revenues, compared to $226.5 million in the first quarter of fiscal 1997. Net income reported for the first quarter of fiscal 1998 was $26.7 million, or $0.38 per share based on 69.6 million weighted average shares compared to $46.5 million, or $0.63 per share for the first quarter of 1997, based on 73.9 million weighted average shares.
