Typical Mac users don't even think about hard-disk drivers. Indeed, hard disks usually come preformatted with a driver installed, and many users have no idea of the virtually invisible, but crucial, software that lets the operating system talk to their hard disks and removables. But as essential as these unsung heroes are, FWB's Hard Disk Toolkit (HDT)--a veteran Mac disk-tools package--offers more than just a driver.
