PUNK rock used to stand for anarchy, but memorabilia from that colourful era now represents a distinctly respectable investment. A copy of the God Save The Queen single by the Sex Pistols can fetch as much as [pounds sterling]12,000 while a pair of bondage trousers might go for [pounds sterling]2,000.

The punk movement exploded on to the music and fashion scene in the late Seventies. But although that first riotous period lasted only about three years, the shockwaves are still felt today. Original records, posters, clothing and other items relating to the time are now highly sought after.
