Yet again in 2008, the six Arkansas teams in the Gulf South Conference were unable to halt the dominance of what has become known as the GSC's Big Three--Valdosta State from Georgia, Delta State from Mississippi and North Alabama.

Yet again, those three teams were selected for the NCAA Division II playoffs, with North Alabama reaching the national semifinals after eliminating Valdosta State and Delta State in succession.

Yet again, the Arkansas schools were on the outside looking in when it came to postseason play.
