Legions of the "grown and sexy," the term sometimes given to young, sophisticated African Americans when they're out spending cash, showed up at Chrysler Hall on Monday night. At least, that's the term singer Chrisette Michele used as she opened for soul crooner Maxwell.

Michele, who had the top album in America a few months back, sang selections that included "Blame It on Me" and "What You Do."
