MELBOURNE, July 29 Asia Pulse - Australian explosives and fertiliser producer Incitec Pivot Ltd (ASX:IPL) says there has been a global pullback in the use of fertilisers, but fertiliser prices appear to have bottomed.
New Incitec chief executive James Fazzino, whose appointment was announced on Wednesday, would not provide an update on business conditions at a press conference held to coincide with the appointment.
"But I'll answer the question very generally in terms of the global outlook," he told reporters at a press conference.
"I guess, globally, we're seeing quite a large pullback in fertiliser use.
