Best Co. has assigned a financial strength rating (FSR) of A- (Excellent) and an issuer credit rating (ICR) of "a-" to Hallmark County Mutual Insurance Company (HCM) (Fort Worth, TX) (formerly known as State and County Mutual Fire Insurance Company). The outlook assigned to both ratings is stable.
The ratings assigned to HCM reflect the operating support provided by American Hallmark Insurance Company of Texas (AHIC) (Fort Worth, TX) through its 100% quota share reinsurance contract.
