MeadWestvaco Corp., International Paper Co., Durobag Manufacturing Co., Interstate Container Corp., Solo Cup Co., Dopaco Inc., Huhtamaki Oyj, Georgia-Pacific LLC, and Pactiv Corp. met recently with others to discuss how to make their cups, cartons, bags, and boxes readily recyclable, Packaging Digest reports.
Pratt Industries Inc. and recyclable waste collector Action Carting Environmental Services Inc. also joined the 80-participant meeting convened by Global Green's Coalition for Resource Recovery. Along with Starbucks Coffee Co. they are initiating a pilot project.
