BOSTON - Republican Charles D. Baker Jr. blames Beacon Hill for worsening the state's economic problems, and casts himself as a turnaround artist in a new campaign video launched in advance of his formal entry into the gubernatorial race today.
Mr. Baker, in a video on a new campaign Web site available for viewing only to people willing to sign up as supporters, gives a brief overview of his background and hopes to unseat the Democrats who reclaimed the governor's office in 2006 after 16 years of Republican governors.
