More and more, Congress and constituents are communicating via the World Wide Web. According to a just released Bonner & Associates-American University survey, 62 percent of Republican members of Congress versus 53 percent of Democrat members, and 73 percent of Senators versus 52 percent of Representatives use the Internet. Overall, 58 percent of members of Congress personally surf the Web.
Other key findings from the survey:
* Ninety percent of congressional offices currently use e-mail, and of the remaining 10 percent, over half of these expect to use e-mail in the next 12 months.
