NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- April 9, 1998--Medical Science Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:MSSI) Thursday announced that it has a joint research and development program for asthma with The Division of Molecular and Genetic Medicine at the University of Sheffield.
Under the terms of the agreement, Sheffield is conducting laboratory and clinical research in the field of chronic obstructive lung diseases, including the initial and confirmatory clinical studies of specific candidate genes in association with severe asthma.
