"This study evaluated the resin-dentin microtensile bond strength ( mu TBS) of ethanol/water-(Single Bond, [SB] 3M ESPE), ethanol- (Optibond Solo Plus, [OP] Kerr) and acetone-based (One-Step, [OS] Bisco) two-step etch-and-rinse adhesives in the presence or absence of their respective solvents to dry and wet dentin. The ultimate tensile strength (UTS) and the degree of conversion (DC) of the materials were also evaluated," scientists writing in the Journal of Adhesive Dentistry report.
