A host of new Android phones are expected to be launched by major manufacturers in the run-up to Christmas. The launch of the new iPhone 3GS has once again upped the ante in the smartphone market, and Android seems to be the popular choice amongst competing manufacturers. Many are also rushing to take advantage of new, faster chips that integrate multimedia capabilities, such as Toshiba's new TG01 phone that uses Qualcomm's 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
