When Vikki Casey-Ahmed's now 3 1/2-year-old twin boys were babies, she grimaced as she watched 140 disposable diapers a week accumulate in her trash.
She wanted to switch to cloth diapers but when she looked for a diaper service, she learned that they'd faded from the local landscape as most parents decided disposables were a more convenient route.
Casey-Ahmed ultimately decided to launder her own cloth diapers. Then her third son was born 9 months ago, and she started thinking once again about how nice it would be to have fresh, clean rectangles of cotton delivered to her door.
