The New Football Pools has signed partnership deals with Daily Mail, The Daily Telegraph and Metro to host a social application within their online fantasy football games.
The application allows players to create mini-Football Pools leagues and receive real-time updates from other gamers through the same login as their existing fantasy games.
The launch, supported by an integrated marketing campaign rolling out ahead of next month's 2009/10 season kick-off, is the first major third- party initiative since Sportech relaunched The New Football Pools last year.
