BENEFITING FROM increased demand in dietary supplements: several producers of natural vitamin E are moving ahead with plans to increase production.
Archer Daniels Midland Company is the latest producer to announce production increases. ADM will raise its capacity for natural vitamin E by one-third at its plant in Decatur, Ill., (CMR, 3/23/98, pg. 3).
Martin Andreas, senior vice-president and assistant to the chairman at ADM, expects to complete the expansion in April 1999. ADM will begin work on the project as soon as it receives permission from Environmental Protection Agency.
