THE Sudanese kidnappers of an Irish aid worker and her colleague are negotiating for a way to release the captives so that they will be able to escape prosecution.
Authorities in Sudan have said the gunmen who took Sharon Commins hostage have accepted they will not get a ransom for the Goal worker from Clontarf in Dublin.
