Apr. 13--Navajo want an apology from Harper's magazine for a sensationalized article stating that murder is the blood sport of Navajo.
Bernice Casaus, Navajo, said, "We want and deserve a formal apology as individual Navajo people and as a Nation."
Subtitled "On the Navajo reservation, a passion for blood sport," the 10-page article appears in the April issue of Harper's magazine.
"And Then There Were None," is written by Debra Weyermann, whose credentials include living in the bordertown of Farmington for three years.
