Get your facts right. Malayalam is not derived from Sanskrit! 'So organised' (GDN, July 26). Sanskrit is an Indo-Aryan language. Malayalam on the other hand is one of the four major Dravidian languages of India.
Malayalam was derived from Tamil but it was influenced by Sanskrit. The magic word here is "influenced". Because of this a lot of Sanskrit words were found in Malayalam scripts.
RJ Juhi reads out the news in Hindi. It's not Sanskrit just because you think it's Sanskrit. I'm not going to comment on the news on 105.4 Radio Spice simply because I have not heard it. I have seen the news on CNN ...
