A BAHRAINI band, which was denied entry into Gaza to perform a concert for Palestinians, will hold its show in Bahrain next Friday.

The band is returning to Bahrain on Tuesday and is planning to perform songs that they had prepared for the visit.

The Independent Musicians band from Ma'ameer were denied entry after being stranded at the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza for eight days.

The six-member band was directed by Bahrain's Foreign Ministry to head home after days of struggle to cross the border.
