Atlanta company will manage station WTEN
ALBANY -- Gray Television Inc. of Atlanta said Thursday it has been chosen to manage WTEN in Albany, along with other stations.
The announcement follows a filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection by Young Broadcasting Inc. and subsequent court approval of a plan to sell the ten stations it owns, including WTEN, to a coalition of its lenders for $220 million.
Gray will manage seven of the stations, under an agreement expected to last through 2012.
