It wouldn't be so bad to have an annual salary of $533,000 and also be receiving a government pension of $120,750. So it is the case with the new Commerce Secretary, who was required to fill out a financial disclosure form, which was provided to Manufacturing & Technology News by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics.
Locke served as governor of the state of Washington from 1997 to 2005. He was in the Washington House of Representatives from 1983 to 1994 and was the King County Executive from 1994 to 1997.
