Completion of the largest electronic flow measurement and radio telemetry infrastructure in the natural gas gathering and processing industry was one of the first of many major technology initiatives to be completed by GPM Gas Corporation. Two other initiatives - upgrading of the company's processing plants' control systems to Distributive Control or DCS, and electronic monitoring of its fleet of over 630 compressors by installation of SCADA, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, are scheduled for completion by the end of 1999.
