Reno officials concluded Friday that arson caused the massive blaze that swept through a vacant south Reno apartment complex, destroying 22 buildings and leading to an estimated $30 million in damage.
Federal and state authorities also joined the investigation into the Wednesday night fire at the Alexander at South Virginia, which was under construction off South Virginia Street.
The investigation Friday included an accelerant-sniffing dog named Rosie that was brought to the fire scene by federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives officials from the San Francisco Bay area. Investigators are trying to pinpoint the ...
