Article: 9 INDONESIAN STATE COS REPORT 24% RISE IN NET PROFIT.(Financial report)

JAKARTA, August 3 Asia Pulse - Nine Indonesian publicly listed state companies reported a 23.51 per cent increase in net profit on average in the first half of this year, with income surging 78.67 per cent.

A number of other companies such as general mining company PT Aneka Tambang (JSX:ANTM), tin mining company PT Timah (JSX:TINS), and pharmaceutical company PT Indofarma (JSX:INAF) have not submitted their financial reports.

Among the nine companies PT Telkom (JSX:TLKM), the country's largest telecommunications company, was the only one posted a decline in net profit.

The company, however, still led in absolute term with net profit at Rp6.04 ...
